Wishkabibble Legacy - Gen. 6
It's been a while since I've played, but hooray for holiday weekends!


When last we visited the Wish clan, the kindly GUCCI people chose Bobble as heir over his slightly less jowly sister Posh. Okay with me; I had grown to love my little Bobblehead. I felt sorry for Posh, though, so she had a little fling with Ratboy, er, Randy London, and Kandy was the squinty-eyed result of that.

Twins Libby and Jazzy in the meantime moved to a new house and hosted my grand experiment in creating random townies with the Tombstone of Life & Death.


At one point I had 20 townies in the house. The estrogen was flowing freely.


I was disappointed with the faces I got - most were cute or unremarkable, thanks to Maxis' rule that female features are less extreme. I got one person that I particularly liked, and you'll see her later.

Note re: Tombstone spawning: I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the people I didn't want, so I had to kill them off one by one with the testingcheat. It took *forever* b/c Grimmy had to come for each one and everyone had to stand around crying for an hour. There must be a better way!

And now back to our story!

I had aged down our old nanny Calista somebody; she turned out to be a flat-nosed redhead. Bobble liked what he saw, leading to a hasty wedding and a baby named Dale Gribble Ishkabibble (seen above, with Kandy). But I wanted Bobble to have more options in life, not tie himself down to one nose, er, woman. One night, he invited Calista to try out the new pool. She didn't realize there were no stairs until she was in mid-air, and by that time it was too late. The ghost of Wish I waited patiently.


Widowed at a young age, with a baby besides, Bobble knew he needed another person in his life. He called the matchmaker, who for perhaps the first time in my experience actually came through!


Bobble wasn't sure which he liked better: his blind date or the nose on the matchmaker herself. Hubba hubba!


One quick de-aging later, Caryl Gray moved in. She looks a lot like Marylena Hamilton, but with a much more inappropriate wardrobe. Bobble loved her so much!!



Yikes!! Don't fall in!!

Caryl didn't have easy pregnancies; I frequently found her looking something like this:


The first baby was a boy named Crash. I was concerned about his appearance as a toddler...


and it turned out I was right. Except for the perfectly horizontal eyebrows, how did Bobble manage to throw such a normal-looking kid? Rats!! Crash decided to move in with Auntie Posh and Kandy so I didn't have to look at his charming face anymore.


Baby number two for Caryl, and the last of Gen. 6, was a redheaded girl named Vishnu. She has one of Enayla's dark skins b/c I made them genetic a long time ago, so in order to photograph her I have to cram lights all around.


I'm not sure what to think of Vishnu. Just in case, I introduced her to flat-faced Avri the Pizza Guy.


So Dale Gribble and Vishnu were growing up, and Bobble and Caryl were growing old, and Crash was stuck as a child in a house I don't have time to play. Dale Gribble will be the heir unless Vishnu changes drastically as an adult. Gotta maintain those jowls!

Bobble reached his elder years and became a business tycoon with his own private chopper. I think he has "UGLY" tattooed across his knuckles.


"Pilot, I notice you have an exceptionally large nose. Are you married? I have a son who would like to meet you..."


Caryl meanwhile was exhausted by her quest to become a Criminal Mastermind. She did make it, with a few days to spare, but the effort left her drained.


Family picture: Bobble expounds on his theory that they're all just characters in a story. The girls pretend to be interested, while Dale Gribble wishes he had moved out with Crash.


Lots of drama packed into one small kitchen. Um, guys? Maybe you should quit arguing and look behind you?

Mrs. Dale Gribble: Katherine Graham Ishkabibble, one of the random townies from the tombstone. I wondered what her beaky nose and prissy mouth would do to my gene pool. (I actually know the partial answer already but you'll just have to wait!)
