IshkaUpdate - Generation 5 (!!!!)
I've been playing Sims like a mad thing because classes start up in a couple of weeks and my free time will plummet. Make hay while the sun shines, and all that.

So! Where were we? A brief recap:
Wish I: fiery death by pop-tart
Wish II + Marylena Hamilton = Tisha and Hamish
Hamish + Chris "THE JAW" Bertino = Masha and Alisha&Fisher (twins)
Fisher + Bowling-Shirt Jane = Dash, Kibble and Hash, the Three Clones, and Tribble the Alien

The leftovers have been moving into separate houses and adopting Maxis kids so I have more interesting people in the neighborhood. Tribble married Daisy, the black-haired townie with the black and white flowered hat, and Dash married Marie Mazza, the pizza girl, who looks tres hot after a makeover. Go, Dash!!

And now back to the story at hand...

The heir of Generation 4 was the only girl, Kibble, because I was tired of hunting down unattractive female townies. Kibble met Komei and they wasted no time...

The Men of the House: Tribble, Komei, and Dash (before T and D moved out and started knocking up the local hotties) Where's Fisher? Um... he died at some point. He and Jane are out on Cemetery Island, moaning about couches.

I try to avoid tedious wedding shots but since this is the first actual wedding I've had in this legacy, you get pictures. You're so lucky.

Can you find all the Ishkabibbles in this picture? (that's Hash front and center, staring up at the camera with his big silly moon face)

This cracked me up: Kibble chose not to go on her own honeymoon. "I think I'll pass this time", she says. Maybe she'll go on the *next* honeymoon.
Komei of course went without her, had a fabulous time, and brought her one of those "My husband went on our honeymoon without me and all I got was this stupid t-shirt" t-shirts.

Kibble and a baby - oh hell, which one is this? I think it's Posh, the firstborn.

The animation got confused when I aged second child Bobble up temporarily so I could see what he looked like. Komei was rather startled.

Kibble&Komei children 3 and 4, twins Libby (black hair) and Jazzy (red hair). I named them after my dogs. :D Only Libby is heir-eligible - no redheads for me :(

Mom Kibble with son Bobble and daughter Posh. I'm leaning towards Bobble as heir but we'll see how Libby turns out.

Everyone photographs well while they're eating! This is Bobble...

Libby and Jazzy...

and Posh (and a Nanny walk-by).

And finally: I had to build a new house, so here it is:

It's a big orange I. Why yes, I do live in Illinois, why do you ask? :P

Now we send Bobble downtown to go girlfriend shopping. With his Komei nose and Bertino lips, he'll have to beat them off with a stick!

Does that really work, surrounding the gravestones with water? I've heard that it does, but I tried it and my (angry, dripping) ghost still got out. Maybe I didn't dig a broad enough moat, or maybe it doesn't work with drowned sims.

Bobble is stunning! Libby could be a contender, though. I'm totally spoiled now, though, and think that they're ALL cute. You could put the most contrasting features on a sim's face now and I'd think they were adorable.

It does work, although the ghosts escape once in a while. I can deal with one once in a while, but three ghosts a night, EVERY night, leads to madness. Mine, not the Sims'.

I've grown to love the uglies, too! I used to look at people's "Look at my ugly Sim, isn't he great?!" pictures and say "Um... no, he's ugly." Now the pretty Sims annoy me and I prefer a bit of character :)

I think I'll try it again, then. I don't want to get rid of the Spector estate's ghosts (especially since they're written in) but they get on my nerves to the point where I don't play that house. Which is a shame because I have a wonderfully ugly and bratty little girl there that I adore, not to mention the hapless Nervous Subject.

Yes, I'll try it again! Thanks for posting that bird's eye picture! :)

I agree that the message you get when the pregnant Sim refuses to go along on honeymoon is funny.

I like Libby and Jazzy's child haircuts, they look very Flintstone-ish. ;-)

Did you wall the ghosts off from the beginning or did you get fed up with them scaring the crap out of your living Sims? It's a very nice house either way.

And I hear you about having trouble hunting down female ugly townies. Of the nine children born in my legacy only one was a girl so far, so I'm not having a lot of options...

I walled them off right away. Ghosts annoy the crap out of me, especially drowned ones with their endless puddles of water. I know it's not strictly Legacy-kosher, but I prefer my sims to get a full night's sleep every night!

Oh, I'm sure it's fine. After all this legacy isn't about having a certain amount of money or ghosts, so I figure we only use the original legacy rules as a basic guideline.

You have some powerful ugly there.

I love the twin girls 'flintstones' hair. But no red heads? If you don't want her, I'll take her. I'm a red head sim WHORE. ;)

Haha, I agree with [info]madame_ugly. Redhead sims > Other sims.
I love this legacy Uglacy, btw.
